Matt Kerwick, Ph.D. Director of Decision Science

Matt has focused his career on product planning and strategy utilizing demand-side opportunity assessment. In healthcare, Matt has worked across many therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, autoimmune, oncology, orthopedic and infectious disease. His work for technology clients includes personal systems, enterprise hardware and software, peripherals, communications and consumer products. Across these efforts, he has had the honor to assist market leaders such as Amgen, AstraZeneca, Biogen, Dell, Elan, Elsevier, GlaxoSmithKline, Genzyme, Harcourt Assessment, HP, IBM, LDR Spine, Luminex, MedImmune, Microsoft, Millennium, Motion, Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi, and Shire, as well as several technology and biotech start-ups.
Matt’s Ph.D. in Management Science and Information Systems is from The University of Texas at Austin where he focused on optimal decision policy formulation in stochastic systems. He has also held strategic planning, research and operations positions at Lockheed Martin, Dell and Sematech. Dr. Kerwick is a member of the adjunct faculty at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin where he teaches statistics.
